EMN Studies

The EMN has been established via Council Decision 2008/381/EC and is financially supported by the European Union.

EMN studies are included in the European Migration Network’s Annual Work Programme. The studies are selected taking into account the political priorities of the European Union and the informational needs identified at the time. Their purpose is to serve as support for decision making. Each EMN Study includes: • The National Report, written by the National Contact Point for Spain of the European Migration Network. It provides an analysis of the subject of the study from a Spanish perspective.   • The Synthesis Report, written by the European Commission in collaboration with the National Contact Points of the Member States on the basis of their national reports. It highlights each State’s key developments in area, offering a comparative overview and situating the report within the Community context.
