Annual Report on Migration and Asylum Statistics
The EMN has been established via Council Decision 2008/381/EC and is financially supported by the European Union. |
The objective of the Annual Report on Migration and Asylum Statistics is to present the key statistical data on migration and asylum for the corresponding year, highlighting recent trends and the principal variations compared with previous years. Two reports are presented each year: • The Annual Report on Migration and Asylum Statistics in Spain, written by the National Contact Point for Spain of the European Migration Network, focusing on statistics at national level and covering the following areas, among others: population, migration flows, residence permits, refusals of entry, apprehensions and removals, international protection and asylum and Spanish nationality on grounds of residence. • The Synthesis Report on Migration and Asylum Statistics of the Member States of the EU, written by the European Commission in collaboration with the National Contact Points of the Member States on the basis of the national reports, highlighting each Member State’s key developments, offering a comparative overview and situating the report within the Community context. |
