Annual Policy Report on Migration and Asylum

The EMN has been established via Council Decision 2008/381/EC and is financially supported by the European Union.

The purpose of the Annual Policy Report on Migration and Asylum is to describe the key policy and legislative developments and public debates that have taken place regarding immigration and asylum matters over the corresponding year. Two reports are presented each year:

• The Annual Policy Report on Migration and Asylum in Spain, written by the National Contact Point for Spain of the European Migration Network, focusing on national institutions and policies.

• The Synthesis Report of Annual Policy Report on Migration and Asylum of the Member States of the EU, written by the European Commission in collaboration with the National Contact Points of the Member States on the basis of the national reports, highlighting each Member State’s key developments, offering a comparative overview and situating the report within the Community context.
